To Learn and to Share

One benefit of talking with folks about Wisconsin’s subterranean spaces is learning about spaces I wished I’d put in the book–like the cave containing a former tavern in the vicinity of Mirror Lake State Park or the tunnel in downtown Eau Claire.

And now I’ve read on a Minnesota caving page more about several sandstone spring caves on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River. Each new lead is a new opportunity to explore and learn more about Badger State geology and history.

Hope to share what I learn at future book presentations and interviews, including an upcoming appearance on All About Living with Carol Koby radio show. Taping for the radio show is set for April 18, with the show broadcast on a Saturday morning, from 10 to 11 a.m., on HANK 1550 AM and 97.7 FM , as well as available as a podcast.
